The Rules

Lake Rules

○ Fishing permitted from the four designated swims only.

○ One angler per swim, with a maximum of three rods. Unless fishing in the double swim, which is designed to accommodate two anglers.

 

○ No nets, mats or slings to be brought on site. These will be provided in each swim.

○ Fish should only be kept in the net while the cradle/sling is prepared. Fish are NOT to be retained under any circumstances.

 

○ No surface fishing.a

○ No zigs allowed.

 

○ No death rigs, fixed leads or braided mainline.

○ Micro barbed hooks ONLY.

○ No particle allowed, strictly freezer boilies and pellet ONLY.

○ Freezer/frozen boilies ONLY, strictly no shelf life boilies. (5kg bags of freezer boiles can be purchased on site)

○ No chest waders to be used (due to deep margins).

○ No casting permitted, please use a bait boat. If you do not have a bait boat then we can provide one for you. However, we require a £220 deposit in case of damage to the equipment. This deposit will be returned to you at the end of your stay. Please find an explaination as to why we do not allow casting here.

○ Please fish locked up if fishing to the overhanging vegetation.

○ Check-out by 8:30am latest.

○ No guests or visitors are permitted on site.

○ No children under 16 are permitted to be on site.

○ No smoking or vaping in cabins or caravan.

○ No cookers or naked flames in the cabins, please use adjacent cooking areas for boiling kettles etc.

○ No dogs.

○ No guns, including BB guns.

○ Rods must not be left unattended.

○ All anglers must use the carp care kit provided (Please do not remove from the Fishery).

All anglers must be in possession of a valid EA Rod licence.

○ You will not be permitted to exit the site during your stay, unless for an emergency. For emergencies please call 07856609547.

○ Viewing of the Fishery and lake tours are by booking only.

Caravan Rules

○  Please treat the caravan with the same respect as you would your own home.

○  Please keep the toilet and shower clean after use.

○  Please do not remove anything from the caravan that does not belong to you.

○  No cigarette butts to be thrown on the floor, please use the allocated ash trays.

○  Excessive drinking and/or drug use will not be tolerated.

○ No littering and ensure you take all of your rubbish away with you.

Please note -

In the caravan, anywhere other than the toilet and shower are out of bounds. Please keep out of the rooms. If anyone is found in any of the other rooms, then the whole party will be asked to leave the site immediately and without refund.

CCTV is in operation around the fishery.

If any of the above rules are not adhered too, you will be asked to leave the Fishery immediately without refund.

Additonally, anglers will be charged accordingly for any damage caused to the fishery. This includes, but is not limited to, damage to the cabins, the caravan and/or the bait boats.
